Watermark provided technical support for the evaluation of changed conditions in the construction of the foundation/support system for the Boston Convention Center for CLE Engineering, a subcontractor to the constructor, Jay Cashman, Inc./CRC Company.

The foundation system consists of 196 caissons and 5000 piles, shallow foundations, concrete grade beams and slab work.  The foundation construction work was completed on a unit rate basis with numerous changes occurring as work progressed.  Watermark supported CLE in determining the impact of these changes on the quantities of concrete, reinforcement, formwork, etc. including estimating cost impacts.
